well folks, the day is upon us.
the anticipation has been great. what is even greater is how this tournament, in all its glory, is a mere precursor to the excitement that awaits. for those of us who truly love star wars (myself, stevens, dan, jordan, and darren to name a few), the growing anticipation over the next 12 months will be all but unbareable. in the 12 months following the tournament, we'll be treated to a teaser trailer, episode three video game, the original trilogy on dvd, a full-on trailer, AND, best of all, CELEBRATION III. in the words of a friend, "tuck your pants in to your socks boys or the pee will hit the floor." or something like that.
anyway, good luck to all. this tournament is shaping up to the best because the competition is stellar. while we've jested about who sucks and who doesn't, the competition this time around is truly out of this world. whoever wins tonight, it is going to be tough.
and while some of you have mentioned that the blog has fallen off a little lately, i think it served its purpose. the blog has been around for over a month, and has kept people talking about the tournament. that was the reason for the blog, and i think it achieved that goal. we've all been excited about the upcoming tournament, and it was nice to have a place to talk (mostly trash) about it.
there were, however, a few noteworthy competitors missing: ben clark, eucker, slingerbanger. their midichlorian count is pretty low though, so they probably never stood a chance in the first place.
anyway, i doubt this will be the last post (i'm planning on posting to rub it in after i win), so i'll see you guys later.
